Safety

Safety is our foremost core value. We adhere to industry-leading safety standards throughout all our operations. Our commitment is reflected in regular safety training, certifications, and the presence of a full-time safety manager, all dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment for both our shop and field staff. This dedication not only safeguards our employees from potential hazards but also fosters a positive company culture where staff feel valued and supported.

Our Riley teams are both MSHA and OSHA certified, with each employee undergoing monthly training and certifications in various safety topics, such as:

• Forklift & Aerial Lift Safety
• LOTO
• Welding, Cutting, Hot Work Hazards & Fire Watch
• Silica/Respirators
• Confined Space
• Rigging, Ladders & Fall Protection
• First Aid & Blood Borne Pathogens & Heat Illness
• HAZCOM

• Crane & Hoist Safe Operations
• Hand Tool Safety
• Emergency Action Plan
• Welding Smoke Hazards
• Noise Exposure & PPE
• Electrical Safety & GFCI
• Emergency Action Plan
• Machine Guarding
• Fire Protection

We have created an Employee Safety Committee to promote a collaborative approach to safety. This committee enables our teams to engage actively in the safety process, giving them a voice and a sense of ownership in maintaining a safe workplace. Meeting monthly, the committee reviews safety data and explores new ideas to uphold an accident-free environment through effective communication, training, technological investments, and accountability.
